'Titouan' is a sought-after 2000 Beneteau Oceanis 50, now listed exclusively for sale with the team at YOTI Queensland.
The Beneteau 50 combines a Bruce Farr-designed hull with a tried-and-tested layout, proven over thousands of miles. Her fast hull has balanced lines for directional control. It is easily driven by her mainsail with lazy jacks and furling genoa trimmed with Lewmar 66 ST winches, enabling short-handed sailing.
In 2020,'Titouan' was upgraded with new rigging, an anchor chain, AGM batteries, four Solar Panels, and electronics from Raymarine. All seacocks were replaced with Tru Design, and electric toilets were fitted.
The generous cockpit is fully shaded on deck with a solid composite bimini and windscreen, which is excellent for entertainment. The twin wheels allow easy access from the bathing platform to the cockpit and interior. Her mainsheet traveller is forward of the cockpit, out of harm's way, and her electric halyard winch makes for easy sail handling, all from the safety of the cockpit.
